March is Women’s History Month, a time to highlight the often overlooked achievements and struggles of women throughout history.
Carmel & Naccasha attorneys Emilie de la Motte and Ann Wilson, along with legal assistant Nicole Todaro, attended an event and presentation hosted by the Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo in celebration of Women’s History Month on March 6. The event, held in Downtown San Luis Obispo, featured Cal Poly Professor Nancy Arrington, who shared her important work on gender diversity and bias in the legal profession. The occasion also recognized the achievements of Melodie Rivas, recipient of the Outstanding Woman Lawyer Award, and Nicole Mullikin, recipient of the Rising Star Award.
