Employees at Carmel & Naccasha are encouraged to achieve a work-life balance. Many of our employees are eligible to participate in our 40-for-36 plan. Employees are paid for their regular 40-hour schedule but work a 36-hour week. They are encouraged to utilize the four hours of paid time to go to the beach, read a book, enjoy time with family, volunteer at a local charitable organization or do something that gives them joy and enhances their enjoyment of living on the Central Coast.
