Devin Mikulka brings a vast amount of diverse legal experience practicing in the areas of employment and labor law, civil litigation, contract, land use, construction defect law and municipal law matters. Her practice focuses on advising employers in a variety of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and PAGA actions. Devin also works with clients to navigate the complicated rules for California employers, including updating handbooks, policies, and procedures. Devin is also certified by the Association of Workplace Investigators to conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations for both private and public employers.

A Pasadena native, she relocated to the Central Coast in 2020 having previously worked for law firms in Southern California. Previously she worked as an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois as a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Prior to her work in Los Angeles, Devin worked at a boutique employment law firm specializing in single plaintiff discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. During law school, she worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego. Prior to law school, Devin worked for the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington D.C. on the international extradition of criminal fugitives.

 Devin earned a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction from the University of Virginia in Foreign Affairs and Spanish. She completed her law school training at University of California, Davis where she was the Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law and Policy and completed a Public Service Law certificate.

She lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband, two boys, and two dogs. She enjoys anything that gets her out in nature, including hiking, running, and trips to the beach
