Amanda Whitney

Amanda Whitney is a corporate and business transactions attorney advising clients on a broad range of matters including commercial contract drafting and negotiation, asset and stock sales, shareholder and partnership arrangements, and employment and compensation agreements.

Amanda began her legal career at a large international law firm where she represented public companies and institutional clients in general corporate governance and complex transactional matters, including multibillion-dollar deals.

At Carmel & Naccasha, Amanda works closely with clients on practical, business-focused legal issues throughout the lifecycle of their business, including with ownership transitions, contract review and negotiation, corporate governance, and advising clients on both strategic transactions and day-to-day business matters.

Before returning to legal practice, Amanda founded and operated an eco-tourism business abroad—experience that informs her practical perspective when advising business clients.

Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis, School of Law, where she graduated first in her class.

Outside of her legal practice, Amanda enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors, whether on a surfboard or in her hiking boots.
