Kim Lacey joined Carmel & Naccasha’s paralegal staff in 2014 and assists with civil and business litigation. Kim has over twenty years experience as a paralegal and has worked in several areas of the law including medical malpractice, personal injury, insurance defense, intellectual property, employment and labor law, and family law supporting both plaintiffs and defendants. She has worked in a variety of law offices – from a national law firm, to a sole practitioner’s office, to a public City Attorney’s office. Kim received both her B.A. in Urban Studies and her Paralegal Certificate from San Francisco State University.
In addition to her experience with law firms, she has also worked with a local community development department and, during college, worked as a bookseller for several years.
Kim is a member of the Central Coast Paralegal Association. In addition to pursuing excellence as a paralegal, she is a committed runner with a local multi-sports team. Kim also enjoys making fruit jams and entering them in the Mid State Fair, where they have earned several prizes. She participates with her husband in the annual Tent City historical re-creation for Atascadero’s Colony Days.
