Seeking an Estate Attorney – San Luis Obispo

Thriving law practice with offices in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles is seeking an attorney estate attorney with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in will, trusts and estates as well as probates and conservatorships. Background and working knowledge in corporate work, governance and transactions is a plus.

Estate Attorney Job Duties

The candidate will:

∙ Design, draft and execute estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, premarital agreements, and other estate planning documents;
∙ Design, draft and execute estate and gift tax returns (including complex reporting and valuation issues);
∙ Consult with and advise fiduciaries in probate and trust administration;
∙ Be experienced with family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, shareholder agreements, installment sales, and other related transactions.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be admitted to the California Bar. Must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the Bar. Should have 5-8 years of trusts and estates experience. Our clients range from young families to high net-worth individuals. Candidate should have experience with a wide range of client types and appreciate working at both ends of the wealth spectrum.

In addition to a passion for helping clients with planning, we are seeking an estate attorney with superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as a commitment to excellent client service.
